One of the most Olympia houses I have ever lived in. It’s big, but quirky. It has a giant yard (extra points if you garden!) with a redwood tree. Deer live here. It’s right off Harrison Ave, but it’s secluded. You’ll have your own room upstairs and will be sharing a bathroom. There is a bidet. Internet is gaming speed. Lots of natural light, washer/dryer, no dishwasher, large refrigerator and two smaller refrigerators. Fully outfitted kitchen with most appliances and sharp knives. The house stays pretty warm in the winter and relatively cool in the summer, but upstairs can get stuffy and chilly. We do not keep a television in common spaces. This house is filled with mystery and surprises.

This is a LGBT+ friendly home, so extra points for non-cishets. Early risers and early to bed. That doesn’t mean that you have to also, but it means you have to respect it somewhat. Very little drinking is done here. It is not prohibited, but if you’re into the bar and party scene, this household is not for you. Weed and mushrooms are totally cool, but hard drugs (pills, powders, needles) are not. Sorry, no kids, dogs, birds, reptiles, or rodents. Cats are negotiable. Vapes are okay (and hilarious. crank that cotton, baby!), but no cigarettes.

The owner/landlord is a semi-famous, semi-retired jazz musician that is super eco conscious and a bit quirky, and the vibe here reflects that. She comes over once or twice a month to do random work and visit the tree😆, so you gotta be okay with that. She’s a sweet lady and very easy to get along with. She respects our personal space, but she is not your trad business-faced landlord. As of August we have just negotiated a six month lease. Once that expires in February we will renegotiate it.

It is a very chill and harmonious space that operates in a very communal☭ and equitable✊ fashion. Your housemates will be a gay male florist (lots of plants😃) and a transgender lesbian-leaning bisexual rock musician. Lots of space for making art of all kinds. Feminine energy is a BIG PLUS!
