I’m looking to rent the extra bedroom in my 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment. It’s a first floor apartment with a finished basement, which includes a laundry area. There’s a dishwasher, and the apartment essentially has 2 furnished living rooms (one on the main floor and the other in the basement). The extra bedroom doesn’t have a bed, but there is a desk and 2 bookshelves already there that you can use if you’d like. It’s located between Fairmount and Spring Garden to the West of Broad, a couple blocks from the new Giant grocery store that just opened on Broad and Spring Garden. Public transportation is very close, including the Broad street line and multiple bus routes. Half of the monthly utilities (internet + gas + electric) would typically be between $125 and $175.

I’m a female young professional working at Penn Medicine looking for another female young professional or graduate student to be my roommate. I also have a cat, so being cat-friendly is a must. All areas of the apartment besides the bedrooms are shared, and I like to keep them reasonably clean but some clutter is okay with me. I’m someone who likes to hang out sometimes and also enjoys private time as well, so someone similar may be ideal but it’s not a requirement.
