I live in a side by side duplex, the landlord lives in the adjacent unit so it will be easy to communicate with her! It’s $875/month and it’s in a great neighborhood. It’s also a very convenient location (in S. Minneapolis) as it is right next to two major highways. It has great amenities including Central A/C, Dishwasher and an In-Unit washer/dryer (the washer is front loading, which is a bonus!). Landlord pays sewer/water/trash, tenants pay for gas/electric/internet. Besides your bedroom, the place will come completely furnished. You can certainly bring your couches/chairs/dishes/common space items and if we cannot fit everything, the basement has plenty of storage for that! I also have a pretty solid home gym in the basement you could also use if you’d like! I’ve been here for three years and have really liked it. Hi! My name is Steve, I’m 38 years old and have a long-term girlfriend of 3.5 years who stays overnight 2 nights out of the week, sometimes more depending on various circumstances. I am a Chilren’s Mental Health Case Manager (essentially, I’m a social worker who helps kids and their families), and I usually work between the hours of 8-4, M-F. I care a lot about physical fitness, and I work out 5 days a week, so almost every weekday I am not home until 6pm or later. When my GF is over, we are quiet and keep to ourselves in my bedroom unless we make a meal in the kitchen, but that is usually pretty quick. I, myself, love sports, particularly soccer (European Football), American Football, Hockey and MMA (UFC). I can talk forever about those 4 sports. I also love movies and will talk forever about them too. If you’re the kind of person who likes the occasional boardgame, I’d be a good fit as I have several and enjoy playing them often! I have no pets (my landlord allows pets with a one time deposit and monthly pet fee), but I do very much so enjoy dogs and cats are growing on me haha. I do not smoke or drink but don’t mind if you do as long as you’re not smoking inside and don’t get drunk constantly and be belligerent/obnoxious. I used to get my housing through a non-profit I was working with, and they assigned roommates to me, so over 7 years, I had 12 roommates so I know how to successfully and effectively live with just about any decent human being 😊. I am extroverted but know how to be around introverts (my girlfriend is very much so an introvert), I am easy to get along with and enjoy conversing and getting to know people, especially people who are different than me! I care a lot about racial and social justice, which is why I have the job that I do. I think that about sums me up, I look forward to getting to know you!
