Hey! I’m looking for a potential roommate for the second room in my little 2br duplex apartment. The place is located in South St.Paul, just south of 494. Downtown St.Paul is roughly 15 minutes away. Downtown Minneapolis is around 30-40 minutes away. Plenty of shopping/parks/entertainment amenities located very close by. I’m hoping to have someone lined up by the end of the summer/early fall. Earliest available move in would be September 1st.

Rent: Roughly $650 + utilities (electric, gas and internet, these generally amount to around $90-100 a month)

The space is the upper level of a duplex in a nice quiet neighborhood. There is free street parking available. In the winter there could be available parking in the garage for someone with a small car. There is a washer/dryer in the basement. As far as accessibility, There is a full flight of stairs in the entry of the home. All doors and entryways are also 31“ and lower. My landlord is very chill, responsive and helpful. The room comes unfurnished, but the rest of the apartment is fully furnished.

I’m hoping to find someone close to my age, who is on the calmer/quieter side and is willing to live pretty minimalistic, as the space is quite small. I also value clear, and open communication. LGBTQA+ friendly is a must.

About me: My name is Ash, I’m a 23y/o non-binary human. Professionally, I am a climbing arborist - I love working with trees 😊. I’m pretty quiet, and generally keep to myself. As I get comfortable with people I get a lot more outgoing, quirky and goofy. I like my alone time, but also will talk your ear off if you let me. I love hockey, rock climbing, and riding my motorcycle. I’m always looking for more hobbies and more people to enjoy them with! I also have a dog named Mork. He is a rescue with some special needs. He is the best boy. I unfortunately can’t add any additional pets right now.
