Jennifer's room

An unfurnished basement room is available with shared bathroom w/home owner. Most of my roommates have lived with me 3 years+, but I’m open to short term rental as well.

The room in the pictures is the larger of the basement BR rooms with a full egress window! The measurements of the living area are 17’8“ by 10’ 1 1/2“ with a with a ~4’x4’ closet. It is currently my BR (hence it’s a bit messy), and I’m completing some wall repair work. (FYI - I’ll be moving into the small south-facing basement BR.) It is surprisingly light given that it faces north.

The home is located in a neighborhood called Sunnyside, which is a near lively Lower Highlands (LoHi) with easy access to downtown Denver and the mountains (I70 and I25). There is also easy access to public trans (#44 and #38), and so many restaurants and other hotspots nearby.

The house is a 1906 brick bungalow (1800 sq. ft) with lots of original charm plus modern renovations. It’s decorated for coziness with lots of color and original artwork dressing the walls. The kitchen is fully equipped for the home cook. The backyard is landscaped and lovely to view in all seasons.

Washer/dryer plus clotheslines for sun drying (the best!)

Plenty of street parking, but you do have to pay attention to the spring-fall street cleaning schedule!

You pay one flat monthly rental fee. I cover all utilities: wifi, electricity, gas, compost, etc.

Total number in the household when full is three female adults. There is one skittish indoor cat who will ignore everyone but the homeowner (unless he takes a shine to you!)

The homeowner (me), is a full-time professional employed in the Information Technology (IT) field, and I work from home as does the 2nd roommate.
