Hi! I had a previous roommate lined up but that have just dropped out of the lease and I am now urgently looking for someone to sign a lease with me! The apartment has great lighting with beautiful big windows and a wonderful size kitchen & living space. My plan is to use some of the living space as a studio to make it a working and living area for us both, so if you create too we can make sure you have space as well! There is no washer/dryer but there is a laundromat nearby and I plan on buying a portable washer for small stuff. In the area, there is a Whole Foods, Target, and Sprouts. The closest BART station is the 19th St Oakland Station, which is about a 20 minute walk or there is a bus stop right outside the apartment. If you have a car, there is a spot that I believe comes with the apartment for $100/month, but I do not need it as I do not have a car. I moved here from Georgia a couple months ago and have been so excited to finally settle into the bay area. I am an artist and teacher, who is mostly a homebody that loves to paint, cook, and binge tv shows. I have a cat, Fergie, that I will move out here from Georgia once I get settled so you must be okay with cats. I am hoping for a roommate that I get along with but don’t feel pressured to have to hang with me. I hope we can enjoy each other’s company and make the space feel like a home!
