Melissa's room

I have a 2 bed / 2 bath furnished apartment in Mission Hills / Hillcrest on the same street as Lazy Acres Grocery store & RK sushi. I’m traveling a lot and do not want to give the place up & looking for a mutually beneficial situation. The room that is available is the main/master with a full en-suite bathroom & double closet, king size bed. I will have the smaller room of the two. Although I will not always be there, the expectation would be that the shared space should be kept very clean like a hotel lobby. I’m open to collaboration on decor & sharing cost to improve the shared space (kitchen, dining, patio, hallway, living room). My bathroom would be the 3/4th guest bathroom in the hallway, which I will allow you to share with occasional guests but would prefer that the roommate use their master bathroom in general. My bedroom door will be closed & locked when I’m not there. There is an outdoor storage closet on each side of the patio, we will each have one, both are lockable. The unit is on the ground floor looking at a canyon over a private road, which makes loading & unloading really easy. The complex is quiet & small (12 units), it has an unheated pool & pool deck, shared pay-per-use laundry room near the pool. The bedroom windows look at the pool & garden area. People are generally very respectful about noise at the pool and the same would be expected. Uncovered parking is available. It’s extremely walkable, close to the bus line. 7 miles from from the ocean, less that 3 miles to Little Italy, Old town, Balboa Park, & Downtown. Easy 12 min Uber to the airport.

35 yr single female, no pets, no kids, no smoke. Traveling and will mostly not be around. Prefer quiet peaceful enjoyment of the apartment. If you want to play video games or other noisy things, please do so in the room. Feel free to bring a futon/tv/desk etc for the master to make it your main space. Kitchen has all basic needs covered, dishware, pots/pans, dishwasher, electric stove, oven, microwave, vitamix, toaster - you’d be welcome to use. *There’s a chance that if you are staying more than a month, you will be required by management to join the lease as a roommate.
