Room for Rent in 5-bedroom house shared with other professional adults in a nicer part of South Los Angles City. This is not the best neighborhood, but it is getting much better. It is about 10 miles from the ocean beaches and has a cool sea breeze most of the year. Access to complimentary laundry room, kitchen appliances, refrigerator, living room, Smart TV, bathroom, tub, shower air conditioning, heater, and high-speed internet. There is a back yard with BBQ grill fire pit, patio umbrella, table, and chairs. We ask that you buy your own firewood and propane if you use those.

All utilities included for $800 per month on a month-to-month rental agreement with an $800 refundable security deposit. Plus, about $20 per month for the housekeeper who is scheduled to clean the communal areas about once per month. Each additional person is and extra $400 per month rent and $400 added to the security deposit and about $20 per month for the housekeeper. We hope you want to stay for many months or years like many of us have been here for years because it is such a good deal. Street parking only. Street parking is pretty good for Los Angeles. No pets, long term guests, smoking cigarettes, or subletting. FICO credit score must be 650 or higher. Must show one year of verifiable income of 3 times the rent per month. Must have good previous rental history and references. There may be additional qualifications when applying.

About me: I am a single professional calm low tempered low drama friendly social active straight male with no kids or pets. I work with computers. I like hiking, camping motorcycles, traveling, snowboarding, trying new restaurants and having fun. I am meticulous about each of us taking off our shoes before we enter the house and buying our own separate food and spices. When I take the last paper towel, or toilet paper, that means it is my turn to replace them with a new role of high-quality paper towels or toilet paper from my room that I have already bought and stored in my room. I feel the same for dish soap, hand soap, trash bags and most other shared items. I rarely leave out dishes or messes around the communal areas of the house but for the right person this structure will make you want to live here more because I am usually very clean, and you should not have to clean up after me, and I will not be using your supplies and eating up your food. We have had a good low drama vibe for many years, and I like my friends to be clean respectable professionals who are peaceful non-violent non-heavy drinkers. I usually clean up my messes right after I make them, so the house should really get dirty or look cluttered. I try to be quiet enough that our next-door neighbors cannot hear us most of the time. I also try to be quiet if people are sleeping at night. I usually work in the day and sleep at night. I live in 1 of the 5 bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, but one of the bathrooms is in the primary bedroom so we share the 2nd bathroom. There are 4 other nice clean, respectable, professional adult roommates many of which have often worked far away from home, so the house typically has not felt crowded. I am planning to be away from home most of the time. I may have a girlfriend or a few respectful friends over sometimes and you are also welcome to as well. Your behaved dates or guests are welcome to spend the night occasionally.
