Tenants are responsible to work 8 hours per week caring for an autistic person on site. They must pass a background check conducted by California’s IHSS program. Tenants will be paid $15.50 per hour for care given to client. Work times will be negotiated with the landlord resulting in 2-3 shifts per week usually in the evening. Most of the time the autistic client is self sufficient requiring occasional help.
