Em's room

A 3 bedroom/1.5 bath, two story, 1,383 sqft townhouse between Town Center and Lynnhaven Mall, and about a 10 minute drive towards either. The room comes with a bed, a desk, and a dresser. 🏠 An important detail: rent and expenses will rise a bit when my other roommate leaves the country for three months every year during the winter to be with her family. 🏠

Right now, my roommate and I are looking for a third person to take the place of our roommate who is leaving for boot camp on August 15, which is in the middle of our lease which is 12 months and renews towards the end of January. She will cover the fee to replace her on the lease. We are looking for a long term roommate!

I value communication and basically bringing up things that should be known ahead of time. I’d rather things get resolved early on rather than fester because nobody wants to talk. You can be blunt with me, I promise it’s all good.

I pretty much keep to myself whenever I’m home, and I wouldn’t invite more than one friend over if any at all (and with courtesy of course!). I’m probably watching a movie or binging some show at any given time. I also enjoy digital art and making comics. I’m very much a night owl so you might run into me at 2AM even outside of finals haha. Admittedly while my personal space might get a little chaotic, I’m super conscious about keeping shared spaces clean /especially/ the bathroom. Please, I do not want a repeat of dorm life.

I can also cook! At least, I’m fairly confident in my pasta and general seasoning skills ha. You’re also in luck if you love Chipotle since I work there. :]

My other roommate (38) works 2 jobs so she’s away most of the time. But she’s also pretty reserved and tends to keep to herself, but she’s very hardworking and clean! On rare nights when she’s not busy, she sometimes blesses us with amazing Brazilian food or seafood.
