The apartment is being renovated right now and will have granite countertops, all new appliances with a gas stove, ceiling fans, a mini-split and newly finished floors. I’m attaching pictures of the unit directly above the available unit so you can get a sense for what it will look like when it’s finished. I will be able to walk you through the actual apartment that they’re renovating next week once they’ve finished the floors. The apartment has one shared bathroom that they have just re-tiled and they are putting in a new vanity. The rent for the room is $1,000 per month plus utilities with a one month broker’s fee and a security deposit (so $3,000 total to move in).

The apartment is within walking distance of buses to Harvard Square and Alewife. Trader Joe’s is within walking distance as well. It’s close to restaurants on Mass Ave, a yoga studio, ice cream, and a big park that would be nice for running. The apartment is located on a quiet street. It’s a first floor apartment that has high windows. There are lots of windows throughout. Both bedrooms have two windows. There’s a dining room, a living room and an enclosed back porch which would be great for plants.

I’m a woman in my late 30s, am very quiet and have worked at the same company in Biotech for the last five years. The landlords are very invested in the property and want to make it a home. I have an 11 year old, 15 pound bichon poodle mix and he is very friendly. There is a clause in the lease that he is the only pet allowed in the apartment.
