Hi! If you love to garden and want to be part of a household community read on… We’re an established household. One of our housemates is moving in with her partner, so we’ll have a room available August 1st. The room that’s available is $500/month, and that includes everything. I don’t ask for a security deposit, and I do not require that you sign a lease, though I can provide one if you like. My house is on the NW edge of Fort Collins (Laporte Ave and Taft Hill area), and we have an acre of land. There are 5 of us when the house if full, and there are 1 1/2 baths for the four of you downstairs; I have my own bathroom upstairs. We are all fully vaccinated and we need you to be as well. We’ve been pretty multi-generational in the past, ranging in ages from 20-60. Currently, our range is 30-62. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly.

If you’re into activist-y things, and/or cooperative living situations, this might be the place for you. We are looking for someone who is communicative, respectful, and invested helping to create a positive housemate culture that includes sharing house responsibilities, occasional meals, and resources (food, tools, etc.) for those that are comfortable. Each of us needs to spend about 3 hours a week in the garden. Pet-wise we have 12 chickens, a livestock guardian dog, and an inside cat.
