Mature, quiet, stable, queer-positive household looking for a new member. Apartment is 1500 sq. ft. Available bedroom is 18x20, shared bath (with a tidy and conscientious housemate). Great natural light, giant double wide closet. New carpet is being installed in the next two weeks.

Large kitchen and common area. Easy access to public transportation, grocery, and laundromat (it is on the first floor of the building). No parking in the building, but street parking is moderately easy.

No couples (no issue with stay overs, but this is a single occupancy situation). Not a party pad. This is a tobacco-free building.

Room is available August 1st and we are hoping for another long-term roomie. The one leaving has been here 4 years, and is leaving the state to start his PhD.

About us: two women of a certain age (not a couple) who are tidy, low-key, cat-people. There are three cats in residence – Monty, Poppette, and Licorice. So if you are allergic, this is not the place for you. They are free-range, but primarily hang in their respective bedrooms. I am into video games and travel, she is into cooking, music, and generally being awesome. We would consider another cat in the house with the understanding that if your feline does not get on with the others, or is into destruction, three a.m. jeremiads, or eats the houseplants (the truly tasty ones are kept as out of reach as possible), they will be sequestered to your room. Which again, is large. No doggos due to allergies. Beyond that, we are looking for someone who cleans up after themselves, knows to clean their hair out of the shower drain every time they use it, helps take out the trash, enjoys quiet, and is chill. Basically, an adult 😊 You don’t have to be our BFF, but we like to keep it friendly, supportive, and kind. Life is hard enough!
