About the room

A private bedroom and bathroom in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment! There’s a large, dreamy window seat in the living room next to an electric fireplace. The deck has a sizable storage closet where one might store a bike. The well-kept complex has a pool that is open seasonally, a year round jacuzzi, a rentable / common area clubhouse, and a fitness center. There’s no assigned parking, but it’s always easy to find a spot (you’ll never have to park on the street. There’s also an option to rent a garage if you’re interested!). It’s located conveniently down the street from the King Soopers shopping center (Drake and Timberline). We are just north of the high school, and aside from the after school pick up, it’s a very quiet and low-traffic neighborhood. There’s a bike/walking trail that starts right at the bottom of our steps and takes you to close-by nature areas if you go far enough, but it’s also a lovely walk around the surrounding neighborhoods. We’re about 10 minutes from Old Town where you’ll find great restaurants and hangs. Going the other way, we’re about 10 minutes from I-25: super convenient!

The shared spaces of this recently renovated apartment include the living room, kitchen (which includes a large pantry and separate utility closet), balcony/deck, and in-unit laundry. I don’t have any pets but if you do that’s no problem (pet rent & deposit required by property management, breed restrictions apply).

Utilities are separate from rent; they usually average about $100 each a month. That total includes electricity through the city, gas, and internet. Water, trash, sewer, pest control, and a very small portion of electricity for the clubhouse / pool / fitness facilities are also included in that total but are paid to the apartment complex through the rent portal.

Pictures shown are from the Pinecone Apartments website. I will furnish our unit’s photographs upon request. Feel free to check out their website for more details, but know that we are grandfathered into a lower rate for rent based on how long I have lived there. The current lease is up at the end of October, and rent will likely increase 5-10% at that time. This is probably the best deal you’ll find for this type of housing in Fort Collins… don’t hesitate to reach out to me with questions and inquiries!

About the roomies

Hi! I’m Ali, I’m 28 years old and have lived in Fort Collins for three years. I graduated from UNC in 2017 with a Master’s in music (I play flute). I work full time at a doctor’s office and I do some freelance performing as well. I love staying active by practicing yoga and hiking in our lovely Rockies! Some of my other hobbies include cooking, taking care of my houseplants, and making pottery. I thrive in an organized environment and I like to keep shared spaces tidy and clean so everyone can enjoy them. Looking for someone who would be compatible!
