Mark's room

I have an unfurnished 14’ x 11’ (154 sq. ft) master bedroom with a private bath (not included in sq. ft.) in a well maintained 1400 sq. ft. brick rancher in a walkable neighborhood. The bedroom has two small closets. The adjoining bathroom has a small vanity but a large tiled shower and an ADA compliant toilet. There is a medicine cabinet and additional shelving over the toilet.

The kitchen and utility room (with a washer and dryer) can be shared including all appliances and pots and pans. You can also use the iron/ironing board, sewing machine, vacuum and carpet machine.

WiFi/High Speed internet as well as all utilities are included in the rent. I do not currently have cable TV, but provide an HDTV antenna system.

The primary rules about the shared spaces and resources are take care of the equipment, clean up after yourself and maintain your own separate food and cleaning supplies. Significant storage space will be provided in the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and utility room, and in the refrigerator.

The driveway is paved and is large enough to accommodate several vehicles. There is also a covered patio and a large well maintained backyard.

I am a 61 year old male living alone. I don’t smoke or drink and don’t have any pets. I have been self-employed for a number of years in traditional crafts and photography, but am currently working from home in information technology. I am generally an early riser, make my bed each morning, spend my day in my office or shop, and am a particular housekeeper. I do have high expectations as to neatness and cleanliness. I prefer a long term renter that will make the room their own.
