Harkins Road

Having lived here for about a year now in my Studio, I’ve gotten to witness how comfortable and refreshing the living space and community is at this apartment complex. The features themselves are pretty impressive with a gym, game room, movie theater, saltwater pool, conference room and lounge areas, rooftop space, car garage and walking courtyard. The building has built-in store space; so it looks like there might be some nice shops in the future. If are interested in aesthetics, the style of this apartment complex is very modern and industrial. This is a fun detail to come home to every day.

Concerning the apartment, I am looking to upgrade immediately to the 2 bed/2bath unit. The size is around 977sqft. Both rooms look equal in size, each having their own walk-in closets and bathrooms.

The living room in-between also seems very spacious with a large kitchen as well. Again, the style is very modern if that is appealing to you with black granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and white cabinets. There is in-unit laundry as well as a dishwasher. Each apartment floor also has a garbage room with trash and recycling chutes for waste.

The location of this complex is great for people who have public transport commute. It’s right across the street from the metro station (New Carrollton Metro) and the MARC train.

A bit about myself: I try to stay clean when it comes to communal living spaces. Though, I’m okay with a little disorganization. I’m a very easy-going woman with no pets/kids. I don’t smoke/ do drugs. I only drink socially. I like boundaries but would also enjoy hanging out. I’m not the keenest on frequent overnight visitors, but having occasional family and friend guests is totally fine. I’m also an artist/graphic designer, so I hope you don’t mind art and home decor projects.
