Newly refurbished large master bedroom with private bathroom and adjoining living room in a 2-bedroom, 2 bath single story house available for rent. The west-facing room has tons of closet space and a sunny alcove. The house is in the College neighborhood near O’Brien’s Market in Roseburg square and is within walking distance of Modesto Junior College, Graceada Park, and Downtown. Renter will have access to the adjoining living room with their own entrance and shared use of a fully equipped kitchen. Parking is available in the driveway. The common spaces include living room, dining room and kitchen. The owner and a cat live on the premises.

Utilities included: Wi-fi, Electricity, Gas, Water, Garbage, and ADT security system No pets No smoking/drugs No large gatherings - this is NOT the turn-up spot! No shoes inside Covid protocols will be observed

This is an eco-friendly house — We conserve water, recycle, and only use cleaning/laundry products that are not harmful to the environment.

Me: I am a queer, Indigenous PhD researcher who travels a lot for my work. I enjoy going on walks/hikes in nature, spending time with small groups of friends, baking, and solitude to recharge from the work I do in the world. I’m quiet, clean, responsible, a good communicator, and I like for my home to be a sanctuary. I also have a cat. I have a daily exercise/meditation practice, am in bed by 11p, and am sober.

You: You’re chill, responsible, clean up after yourself and have consistent income. You want to live with someone you can connect with but also enjoy your own space. You enjoy the occasional house guest and follow covid protocols both at home and outside the house. You are respectful and mindful of your impact on others, and you like cats. :)
