NO COUPLES. NO CHILDREN. MUST HAVE COVID VACCINE. Roomy 960 sq/ft two bedroom, two bathroom apartment right across from the University of Nevada, Reno searching for roommate starting in August 2023. It is located at the Westwood Sierra Apartments and the primary bedroom is currently available to be sublet for $750.00/month with a $675.00 deposit. Garbage and water is included, WIFI and energy are seperate.

The apartment accepts CATS, but DOES NOT ACCEPT DOGS unless they are a service/emotional support animal. I have one cat who is shy but gets along with other cats when she warms up.

The apartment is equipped with a full kitchen including a fridge, electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The available room has a walk in closet and attached bathroom. The unit is on the bottom floor and is close to the pool and laundry room.

You will have to complete a background and credit check (the credit check does not hold bearing on your eligibility so do not be deterred by a below average/non-existent score). You will have to provide proof of income or financial assistance for living. The complex also requires two references from others you have lived with, and they do call!

I am currently looking for a roommate to move in August 1st. I am a 26 year old who uses the pronouns she/her. I work for the Department of Child and Family Services full time as a psychiatric caseworker. I graduated from UNR in 2019 and grew up locally. I am 420 friendly and cat friendly but would prefer you only come with one cat, two max. I am fairly quiet and spend most of my time on the porch, watching TV in the living room, playing video games, or doing art. I am a social person but also enjoy alone time. I like having friends over and like to host game nights! I am usually a morning person but try to stay quiet in the wee hours. My favorite activities are backpacking, listening to audiobooks, and watching movies!

Ideal Roommate: I would prefer a roommate between 25 and 35 years old with a steady income. COUPLES NOT ACCEPTED. I would like a roommate who is ready to commit to at least 6 months. My ideal roommate is 420 friendly/accepting and likes cats. I don’t mind having guests over or having parties, but I do not want to live in a round-the-clock party house. We will probably not get along if you struggle with open communication or would describe yourself as a “neat freak.” We will absolutely not get along if you want to “make america great again,” or drink excessively often.
