Tanvi's room

This is a bright and airy 2b1b apartment with big windows that have views of downtown, the Space Needle, and the Sound and an in-unit washer/dryer. The apartment is on the top floor of a small and quiet apartment building that has about 13 condos total. The building has an elevator and a rooftop terrace with grills, which is typically empty and super fun to hang out on in the summer. There’s no parking available in the building, but there are nearby lots where you can rent a spot to park your car. It’s located 1 block from Broadway in Capitol Hill and therefore has a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and basically anything else you could need within walking distance.

I signed the lease on the apartment a couple months ago and I’m looking for a roommate to sublease the master bedroom room to for the remainder of the lease, which ends at the end of April 2023. The rent is $1275/month (including all utilities except electricity and Wi-Fi) and there’s a $1110 security deposit for the landlord, half of which is non-refundable. Also, dogs unfortunately aren’t allowed in the building, but cats are welcome for $100/month.

I’m a 24 year old computer engineer. I moved to Seattle late last summer, so I’m still relatively new to the city and am always open to making more friends in the area. I’d love a roommate who’s down to hang out in our free time and try new things around Seattle. I’m also excited to take advantage of living in Capitol Hill and try out the bars and restaurants in the area.
