We live in a beautiful, safe, very quiet section of west Delray Beach. Of course, you have exclusive access to your own bedroom and a shared bathroom. We all share access to other, common areas of the house such as living room, dining area, kitchen and outdoor living spaces (patio and yard), as well as the large outdoor parking area. Occasional overnight guests should not be a problem. Monthly housing expense includes laundry, air conditioning & all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, cable & PAY television, wired and wireless broadband internet, etc.) and cleaning of common areas.

The home is fully modernized with extensive smart home features throughout (such as lighting & security cameras, no-key smart locks, smart assistants, sensors, etc.), new impact-rated windows and doors throughout, and even rooftop solar power system with a large battery backup to power the entire home in case of power outages. You also have access to the community’s clubhouse which includes an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, dry sauna, fitness center, rec and other multi-purpose rooms, picnic area, pool table and auditorium with movies, performances, clubs and other activities.

A little more about the specific room that is available… It is definitely below-average size. But the room is absolutely wonderful, very bright and cheery. A sliding door provides direct access to the outside patio and another large window faces the rear yard, so the room is very sunny and has a great feel to it. The current resident has a twin-sized bed; the prior one before had a full-sized bed with drawers underneath to help make the space more efficient. Beds larger than those are not feasible in this room. But there is enough room for a small desk, and dresser if desired. The closet has hanging space as well as some shelves. There is a ceiling-mounted fan/light with remote as well as a flat screen HDTV with sound bar and sub-woofer for your use if you wish. Furniture can be provided if you need it. Due to the limited amount of space, I would say the room is best suited to a student, someone that travels extensively, a person who is a part-time Florida resident, someone who works most of the time, or someone who has a minimal amount of personal belongings. Of course, you have full access to all the common areas of the home, including a large living room with couches, chairs, flat-screen TV with surround, dining room table, etc., so although the private space is smaller than average, the overall amount of living areas is about average.

We are looking for one other a housemate to join us in our renovated, 1700 sq. ft, 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home. The three of us are easy-going, pleasant, polite, friendly, interesting, down-to-earth and have been happily living together for between 1 and 3 years. Our ages vary, from 20’s to 50’s and we are a mix of men and women. We consider ourselves extremely organized, neat, clean, quiet and respectful of others, and are seeking house companions of similar taste.
