Quiet safe neighborhood close to ASU and downtown Boone with easy access in winter on paved roads and short driveway. Split level with 6 steps from downstairs to upstairs 3 bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. The house has electric central heat and a/c and a cozy additional wood fireplace. All pergo floors. Washer/drier are in the basement. Garage has some extra storage space. Parking on paved driveway. I have two very sweet 3 year old indoor cats. Front lawn area that is flat. Private small back porch and seating area.

I am a healthy, peaceful, clean, conscious and considerate house mate age 53, originally from the UK, and am seeking similar resonance in a responsible person that likes cats.

I will be working from the house 4 days a week as a Licensed Professional Massage Therapist in the 3rd bedroom upstairs with days off probably on Wednesdays and Weekends (can be flexible with days I work depending on your own work schedule to give you more time there without my 4-5 clients per work day being there)

You can be at the house anytime you wish during my business hours just no loud music or very loud noise please as I like to provide a peaceful space for my clients.

No smoking of any kind on the property or drinking alcohol to excess.

I am planning on relocating back to Boone where I’ve lived for almost 22 years, after a 6 month break, and plan to move in by September 1st.

I’ve not seen the inside as yet myself, but know the landlady well and have a great friendship with her and have rented places from her before that were well maintained.

As of now, I am not sure when it will be available to view the inside, but probably by the end of July if not sooner (the photos were taken a few years ago before it was repainted throughout and central heat and a/c replaced the monitor and baseboard heaters)

I enjoy doing yoga at home daily, hiking and going to Lake Watauga to paddleboard. Occasionally I go to visit my boyfriend in Charlotte for an overnight and can arrange for a cat sitter or pay you.

I’m paying extra rent to cover the cost of using one bedroom as my office space, therefore the usual split rent of $1,800/$900 each is reduced to $650 for you, with an additional portion of the electric bill)
