MARISSA's room

This cute two story townhouse is small, but comfortable. There’s a park right across the street, where I usually walk my German/Australian Shepherd, Champ. It’s a very friendly neighborhood, everyone has been great so far. As far as the room goes, it’s basically the lower level of the townhouse. I’ll be putting up a barrier between the stairs and the room on the main floor to make it private. The shared bathroom is upstairs, there is also an in house washer and dryer. Theres no central AC, but the swamp cooler does a phenomenal job of keeping the house cool all day. The kitchen is on the main floor. There’s a cute backyard with a fig tree that’s fenced in. The parking space is in the first right hand section of parking.

There’s currently two characters that live here. Myself and my pupper Champ!

First things first, this is Champ’s house and I just live here 😂. Second off, he sheds quite a bit, and I try as best I can to stay on top of it, but…. He’s a 3.5 year old German/Australian Shepherd, so he sheds a bit. On the other hand, He’s the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet! He loves to play catch by himself and he keeps himself pretty entertained. He’s very low maintenance, house trained, a huge snuggle bug, and extremely smart! He’s an ESA, and very good at his job! The one thing you have to watch out for is your food! He’s a sneaky guy when it comes to food and won’t hesitate to take it out of your mouth given the chance 😅.

As for myself! My name is Marissa! I am the general manager of a wellness facility! I am a fun-loving, ADHD, home-body, gym rat, who is a self care and mental health advocate who respects boundaries and appreciates open communication. I avoid drama, I don’t party (although I do enjoy an occasional drink or evening out), I spend most of my time working on continuing education credits for personal training, finding random projects to start and hyper fixate on until I find my next obsession, or I’m at the gym working out.

I would describe myself as an extroverted introvert. I love camping, hiking, being outdoors, skiing, going on spontaneous adventures, plus I’m a big foodie, but I also like being curled up on the couch watching hallmark shows, painting, or being a #plantmom. All in all, I’m an easy going gal with a kind heart who just wants to live a happy, peaceful, self-aware life.
