Seeking male housemate for an unfurnished bottom floor bedroom for lease in a spacious, clean 4-BR townhouse in Lorton, VA, shared by three other men in their twenties to late thirties. $925/mo plus 4-way utility split (typically $30-50/mo). Available the first week of July.

Bedroom for lease is on the bottom floor: about 14’x11’ with a plenty of light, generous closet space, a separate room (no window) that can be used for storage or other purposes, private bath, office space, and private back entrance. The room is unfurnished and carpeted.

Townhouse is a relatively new build and is spacious with a nice clean kitchen with plenty of storage/prep space and modern appliances. There is a shared dining area with table/chairs, living room space, and a back deck to relax outside. Two reserved parking spaces are included and shared among the tenants, with extra unreserved/guest spaces available. There is also a half bath on the main floor for guests and friends. Central A/C and heat, washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi. Located just south of Springfield/Newington on the east side of I-95, within minutes of Fort Belvoir and Quantico. Very close to Wegmans and Amazon Fresh and not far from multiple commuter options, including the Franconia-Springfield Metro station.

Seeking a tenant who is clean, respectful of others, and easy-going. College students, military members, and government employees or contractors are ideal fits. Lease options are flexible, but the landlord requires at least a 6-month commitment (12 months preferable) upfront that can later be extended if desired. Shorter leases are possible but will have a higher rent rate to account for excessive turnover in the house—available for discussion. No pets, please, and single occupancy per bedroom. A basic background check is conducted on each applicant to ensure a safe living environment for all tenants.

Utilities are split 4 ways and average about $30-50/month per tenant, with the higher side being in the winter months. Flexible rent payment options available including check, EFT, Venmo/Paypal/Zelle.
