Northwest 16th Avenue

This is the minimum rate per bedroom in a 4 bed 3 bath house on a half-acre off of NW 16th Ave. There is a 2nd-floor room available, for 700/month (Security deposit is 1 month rent). The room is furnished with a mattress, linens, frame, and dresser. A screened-in porch overlooks a fenced backyard. AC is controlled by an EcoBee thermostat. Large circular drive for excess parking.

The residence is located just 1.5 miles from the University of Florida campus and provides safe travel via bus service. The landlord is a UF student and will reside on-site

The kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher along with a breakfast counter and prep island. Opens into a spacious dining and living area with a wood-burning fireplace. The laundry room includes a washer and dryer. Utilities are not included in the rent and are split monthly amongst residents. High-speed internet is included.

The lease will be ~ one year from signing, 2023 to July 31st, 2024. While pets are allowed, there is a restriction on their number, and are subject to approval by the Landlord. Garage parking is an additional monthly fee to reserve. All details are further specified and subject to revisions in the lease contract. If signed after the August 1st start date, 1st month’s rent will be prorated accordingly.

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Florida, as I’ll be residing on-site I’ll likely be busy with coursework and activities depending on availability. In my spare time, I do enjoy cooking and home projects, and have a husky. One roommate is Shiv who is a dental student, the 2nd is Silas who studies Law. We’re all males in our 20s, laid back, and love going out with friends and helping each other out. Honestly, we’re seeking others around our age, primarily students that can easily get along with everyone. However, we’re pretty lax and willing to work with anyone.

Male or female renters are welcome. However, the available room does share a common bathroom upstairs (pictured).
