The drive from the apartment to NMU campus is about 10-15 minutes, so it’s a little out of the way but not bad. The area around the apartment is usually pretty quiet and has quite a few trees. The neighbors in other apartments are quiet and respectful as well. The apartment is clean and the landlord, who is also a professor at NMU, is a nice guy and does a good job with making sure any repairs are fixed right away. He plows the driveway in the winter and I’ve never had an issue with parking. Besides rent, we also have to pay for electricity which heats the apartment in the winter. Per person, I usually expect 30$ at least for electricity in summer and 75$ at the most in the winter.

As far as I can tell this is one of the better priced apartments in the Marquette area which is surprising because it’s a pretty nice area. The landlord requires a background check and a minimum income, but it’s very easy to qualify. If you have any other questions I am happy to answer.

I’m a student at NMU looking for a roommate from now till approximately next August. I typically keep to myself but am still very friendly. I work at NMU Helpdesk and WUPX, the student radio station on campus. I like hiking, reading, and I play some video games.
