Ellen's room

Hello! We have one large bedroom for rent in a three-story house close to Haverford College. Rent is $800, plus 1/3 of utilities (usually around $110-$120 per person). Utilities include gas/electricity, water, WiFi.

The room is on the third floor in a converted attic and could be a bedroom, home office, or both – it’s about 180 square feet. It has its own sink, spacious closet, and large insulated windows. Recently repainted and re-insulated, comes with the desk, chair, rug and wall art you see in the photos (if you want them) plus a window A/C unit.

The other two bedrooms are on the second floor, as is the shared bathroom. There’s a second bathroom in the basement.

House has a front porch, living room, dining room and kitchen. The basement has a half-bathroom, washer & dryer, and plenty of storage space.

Off-street parking spot is also available.

Roommates: one woman, one man (2not a couple) both work normal 9-5 hours; one cat (9?), unemployed. Cat is very people-friendly but hates other animals unfortunately.

Landlords live elsewhere; they are hands-off but friendly and responsive to problems. Looking for someone quiet, friendly, mature, and respectful of others’ privacy, health and safety. Ideally you like living with other people but don’t need constant conversation. If you’re interested, please reply with a few details about yourself – age, employment, hobbies etc.
