About the room
The property is located on the Eastside of Troy. A quiet neighborhood with on street parking. The flat has four bedrooms, with a fenced in side yard.
The room that is available is a spacious “in-laws apartment” with its own entrance and half-bathroom. The roommate would be sharing the flat with me, and splitting electricity. Everything else is included. There is a large basement, and a washer and dryer on site.
- Four Rooms:
• The prospective tenant will have the in-laws apartment with its own entrance and half-bathroom.
• One room will be my private study, while the other my bedroom.
• Last room will be a shared space for gym equipment. Presently it’s the “sun room” where I have my plants. This room needs to be painted still.
- Requirements:
• We require a paystub (digital or hard copy) or bank statement for proof of employment and income. If a student, provide source of income and proof of attending university.
• Three references (excluding family)
• $600 security deposit.
• Upbeat attitude and friendliness to our upstairs tenants (2 tenants total)
- Rent, Utilities, and Bills (oh my):
• $1,200 is the monthly rent. ($600 split)
• Utilities (electricity) split 50/50.
• Everything else included.
Payments can be made to me by check, cash, PayPal or Venmo.

About the roomies
I am the property manager of this three story building and will be living on site. I’m 30 years old and have a dog. Her name is Dolly and loves people and animals but will be intimidating at first with her loud barks. She’s an English Shepherd and can be inquisitive of new people but she will warm up. If prospective tenants have animals, please tell me so we can meet together with them so they may adjust.
Lease will be 6 to 12 months, then month to month. Need advance notice if planning to move out. Students lease will be duration of semester.
