About the room

$1955 Bedroom available in East Village (near Tompkins Square Park, L Train, Union Square, and NYU)

1 bedroom available in a beautiful, exposed brick New York apartment in East Village. The bedroom (approx. 10x10, fits a full-size bed) is part of a corner 3-bedroom apartment overlooking East Village and within walking distance of many popular restaurants and bars (St. Mark’s Place, Hearth, Goodnight Sonny’s, Au’Zatar, ‘Lil Frankie’s, and more). It’s located 2 blocks from Tompkins Square Park and the L train as well as a 15-minute walk from Union Square and NYU. The apartment has a large, shared living room with large windows and natural light, a full kitchen, and bathroom with full-sized shower/tub. We are on the 5th floor (walk-up). The area and building are very safe and secure. While there is no laundry on-site, there are several laundromats within 1-2 blocks.

We are looking for a graduate student and/or working professional to fill the bedroom that is fun, respectful, and clean as well as enjoys a community-like atmosphere.

Room available August 1.

Rent is $1955 which includes: water and trash

Other utilities around $60-70 a month (internet, gas and electric)

*Some pictures of model unit in apartment building so our unit has a few different colors/features (i.e., cabinent color) but all sizing/orientation is the same.

No laundry on site, but laundromat close by Street parking Shared bath Private room

We look forward to meeting you!

About the roomies

Two other females (late 20s-early 30s) live in the apartment along with a friendly cat. Sorry, unfortunately, we cannot have other pets. We enjoy hanging out together, making communal dinners, enjoying the city, or doing yoga in the living room/park. We are full-time graduate students who also work and enjoy several hobbies outside of work/school. Please respond with a brief description of yourself and any questions you may have.
