One room available for rent in a 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom duplex in South Slope, Brooklyn. This apartment is located on the top two floors of a 3 family home. The block is quiet and consists of townhouses. The bedroom can comfortably fit a full/queen sized bed, dresser and desk. The small door pictured by the bed is an extra storage nook.

We are super close to the R train, less than a 10 minute walk from the F/G train, and a few avenues away from Prospect Park. Restaurants, bars, and the supermarkets are located along 5th avenue. We are conveniently close to the 24/7 Clean Rite laundromat.

We are looking for someone mature, responsible, clean, respectful of common spaces whose job is not fully remote and who rarely brings guests over. Also, has plenty of activities outside of home. No smoking allowed inside the house. No shoes in the house. No pets. No couples.

Room is available for immediate occupancy or for July 1st. Rent is $1,000 a month. Utilities are around $50 a month per person (electric, internet, gas). First months rent and security deposit ($2,000 total) due prior to moving in. Must sign for 1 year lease beginning July 1st. Landlord will require proof of income and credit check.

The current roommates are native New Yorkers. M works an administrative/operations job in real estate and travels to the office 5 days a week. M watches too much Netflix, likes reading, playing video games and spending time with her siblings. I is a pilates instructor and actress. Her schedule varies but mostly not at home often.
