Old single family in Somerville (best neighborhood for students at Harvard, Tufts, or MIT and great access to buses, trains, and bikes). Bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a parking spot, but that’s not included in the rent–pretty much everything else is. I rescue dogs, and have a docile, older Greyhound presently. First and last required to enter a lease, no security deposit.

I’m almost 50, an attorney and academic, and my dog is an elderly retired racer (Greyhound). I cook daily and take the dog on walks, but the house is pretty quiet after 11, usually.
