Im a firefighter for a local FD and currently renting a home with one of my coworkers. He got a job opportunity out of state and is moving out. I need to find another roommate (or two to take his place) it’s a 4 bed, 2 bath newer home in the sought after Easthaven subdivision inside of the savannah Quarters off of Quacco road. There is a 1 pet only policy and I already have my dog so someone with a pet wouldn’t be a good fit. Currently my roommate and I split the $2200 month rent evenly between us ($1100) per month. Trying to find a possible 3rd roommate to bring the rent down to around $730 a piece plus utilites. I have the master so I pay for the wifi myself for everyone as well as the security system. We have an empty spare bedroom and we made an office we share out of the 4th bedroom. The bathroom would be shared with guest or the other roommate if I can find one. Water runs about $20-$30 and electric about $90 Sometimes less (obviously it would be a little different if there were 3 people instead of 2. Deposit is $550. Rent is due on the 1st and water/power is usually due by the 10th. Living room and dining room are furnished. Roommate is most likely leaving his queen size bed frame and mattress when he goes. Move in would be 1st of august and the lease is up February 1st. Rental is through bocook where you will have to fill out an app for approval and background check. I’m a 24 year old female and work a full time job at the Fire department. I’m on a 24/48 schedule with some additional overtime shifts. I also work an office job 9-5 on weekdays that I’m off. I work a lot and travel a lot so my new roommate I hope would be okay with that. I love to read and go to Tybee and downtown for coffee. I’m always up for a movie night or a Netflix binge if I’m home. I have a dog named Trevor. He’s a bit of a crackhead but once he gets used to you, he will be your best friend. He used to sleep with my roommate on the nights I was gone at work. He’s a purebred good boy. hoping to find someone in the mid 20s-mid 30s who is chill and laid back and cleans up after themselves. Roommate can be male or female. I don’t mind. Preferably female. Someone who won’t bring drama in the house or crazy bfs/gfs because my anxiety just cannot handle all that. I enjoyed my current coworker because we live at a firehouse on the days we were so he always picked up behind himself like we do at the firehouse. Plus we knew each others schedules and when the other was sleeping. Haha. I’m pretty chill and laid back as well. LGBTQ Ally and a judgement free zone. Please no drugs or smoking of any kind. Thats per the owner not me so it’s a rule that has to be followed.
