I’m looking for a roommate to share this huge 1700 square foot loft. The main space has 18’ tall ceilings, with south facing, ceiling height windows that can get sunshine all day. The open plan space includes a kitchen with a view of the hills, a large living area, and an expansive deck, fitted with outdoor seating, barbecue, and hammock. Inside, there’s a real-flame fireplace, surround sound music system, and plenty of space to relax. It has an ‘optimistic’ vibe - it’s a great place to wake up to in the mornings. Downstairs, the open-plan style living space features high ceilings, a well equipped modern kitchen and great views of the hills. You can cook and view the horizon 5 miles away! :)

The room for rent is privately located at the back of building. The room also feels spacious - approx 23’ by 16’ in size, and includes a second smaller room which you can use as an office, walk in closet, guest room or personal gym. Both rooms have great light - with double glazed windows fitted with black-out blinds. There’s also a double closet built into the wall. The room can come furnished - or not.

The apartment is positioned on the edge of a hill, so has great views that extend miles. It’s located in Potrero Hill, restaurants and bars are a few blocks away, Mission and Dogpatch areas a few minutes walk. This place is great for commuters, with easy access to the 101 and 280 highways.

I’m an easy going British guy, that divides his time between designing, teaching, making art and traveling. I work at a nearby school, and have a studio upstairs - one of my works currently occupies some space downstairs. I’m looking for a gay friendly roommate, who has their own life, but still enjoys being social now and then. I also have a friendly short hair Belgian sheepdog. She’s very good natured, and tends to stay by my side, else in my room.
