Eden's room

One room for rent in an owner-occupied 3 bedroom manufactured home in mobile home park, available June 1st. This room is single occupancy. Approx 11 x 10ft, closet, shared bathroom with one other housemate.

$550 Month-to-Month Lease, plus utilities. Tenant must be pre-approved by the park (approx. $20 fee).

Proof of income, credit report and background check (approx. $55 fee), and two character references required. If approved, $500 deposit and last month’s rent required prior to move-in date.

Utilities are split between the three housemates: Power (from approx. $200 in winter/summer to $100 in spring/fall) Internet ($85) Water (approx. $21).

Washer and dryer on site. Reserved parking space. Heating and cooling. Clean, well-maintained home.

All housemates contribute in cleaning the common spaces such as living room, kitchen, and laundry room, and agree to communal house rules. Yard maintained by landlord. Large back yard. We are currently building a veggie garden with lounge space. BBQ, just needs a gas tank if you wanted to use it.

The house is located in a mobile home park in south Medford in a quiet neighborhood. 5min drive to downtown Medford, 15-20 minute drive to Ashland. The park requires that you go through a background check and sign a Temporary Occupancy Agreement. They do not allow marijuana in the park and have a noise curfew at 10pm. There is street parking from 6am until 10pm. If you have a dog, it must be under 10 lbs at adult weight per park rules. No cats as I am allergic, even though I love them.

We’re looking for a housemate who is a working professional, clean, respectful, communicative, drug-free, and fun. :) One of the bedrooms is used as an art studio, so you will mostly have a bathroom to yourself. We live on the other side of the living room, so there is privacy. We like to watch movies, sometimes share a meal and have a game night, make jokes and share about our day. We welcome creative types, including artists, writers, and musicians, as we are as well. :)

We are a respectful couple who both work full-time. I am an artist, bookmaker, writer, and songwriter. I manage activities at a retirement home. I love my job for many reasons, one of which is I get to be creative. :) I am also an art vendor occasionally at local pop-ups on the weekends.

My boyfriend Sean is a tie-dye artist–also a vendor! who works at Harry & David. He loves to cook and bake anything from scratch. He also likes to play computer games. We love to paint and garden together; he literally just built the garden beds in the picture, as we are about to plant starts we have growing.
