Idlewild Drive

This is an unfurnished bedroom in a 2 bed/1 bath house in a gated apartment complex. It is in a great location right across from Idlewild park, so you can walk to just about anywhere in the downtown/midtown area instead of dealing with parking and traffic. UNR is a 10-15 minute drive and you’re close to several freeway entrances and bus lines.

The apartment includes a shared dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, storage closet and a small back patio area. It also has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and central AC/heat. It is also handicap accessible, so there is a bench that can fold down in the shower and a very open floor plan.

As for amenities we have a washer/dryer and dishwasher in unit. There is also a shared pool/hot tub and small fitness center available 24 hours a day! All mail and packages are secured in locked boxes. If you have dogs (which are absolutely welcome) there is a small gated area next to our building to take them out, and other scattered grass areas within the complex as well. For an extra fee (included in the deposit) you can get a reserved parking spot. Generally parking isn’t too bad and my guests and I have never had any trouble doing so, but it’s nice to have a guaranteed spot especially if you come home late.

The listed cost includes utility bills (water, power, and wifi) on top of the rent. The $100 deposit will go towards the cost of requesting a reserved parking spot for you, as well as cover the cost of getting a key fob to access the pool and gym areas, another fob to open the gates (which close every day at 4pm), and having spare keys made for the mailboxes/front door. If you have any pets that you would like to add add there’s an additional $25 added to the monthly rent per animal. Rent is due the 1st of every month!

I am a 26 year old female who just graduated from UNR. I’m currently taking some time off for school and am looking to start a Masters program in Fall 2023. I have a 10 month old Australian Shepherd puppy who is kennel and potty trained, spayed, has all her shots and gets along with other animals! She’s an anxious little girl until she gets to know you, then she’ll be your best friend!

I work midshifts/nights 5 days a week, and don’t spend too much time at home besides mornings/after work. I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking and pretty much any summer activity you can think of! I am a semi-social person and like to be able to invite friends over from time to time, but it is always very low-key and I will always be respectful of your schedule.

I do like to keep things clean (not expecting anything to be perfect) so I would prefer to live with someone who doesn’t mind helping out and taking turns cleaning shared areas. I don’t mind if you smoke cannabis inside, but absolutely no cigarettes inside.
