Kingwood Street

The apartment is in the Perilli School House building in South Park, which used to be a beautiful elementary school but has now been converted into very tasteful and affordable apartments. The unit is a VERY spacious and elegant 2 bedroom, 2 bath for $485/mo (not including utilities). My unit has lots of huge windows, natural light, and full, comfortable furniture. And since each of us will have our own bedroom AND our own bathroom, we have lots of our own space. And then, of course, there’s a large, full kitchen, a spacious living room, and lots of storage space (and I mean LOTS). The walls are literally each 12 inches thick, so I almost never hear any neighbor ruckus, and I can also barely ever hear my roommate across the unit. It is truly a steal for how inexpensive the rent is! Gene Perilli, the landlord, is the best anyone could ever ask for. The staff here is super lenient, understanding, and helpful! The lease is very simple (literally only a page-long) and easy to follow! South Park is a safe and beautiful community in which to live (I love going on walks around the neighborhood, and tons of other people do too). It’s an 8 min walk from WVU’s downtown campus (or a 5 min walk from the Walnut PRT station). I’ve lived in this unit for over a year already, and love it to death.

I identify as a woman, I’m 19 years old, I study at WVU, and I also work a lot. I am the only person you’d be moving in with, as it is a 2 bedroom apartment. My hobbies include playing the drums (but not inside the unit, as that would be very problematic, lol), reading, watching movies and TV/Anime, drawing, painting, and going on walks and hikes! I am very kind, quiet, and considerate. For example, if I want to have anyone, like my girlfriend or any friends over, I will ask you first if the timing is okay! My beloved, current roommate will be moving out after this year’s lease is up, so I’m looking for someone to fill her spot next year, starting in June 2023. I would like my roommate to be female, preferably also a student at WVU, and someone who is also kind, considerate, and respects boundaries just like I do!
