Hello! We have one room available in a beautiful 4-Bedroom house for rent in Irvine. Move in date is flexible, anytime July 15-August 26th works well. We are generally available weeknights after 6:30pm and on the weekends to show the place.

The room is fairly normal sized, about 11X11, and includes a closet in room and a closet outside the room. One nice aspect to the room is it does not share walls with any other room!

There is also extra storage space ithe garage. The kitchen is used communally, and there is plenty of fridge space (2 fridges and a mini fridge) and shelf space. It is a friendly and positive vibe in the house, and everyone is relatively clean, and we are looking for the same in a new roommate.

Rent for each room is $1000 for the room per month (1 year lease).

The security deposit is $1000 +$50 key deposit, but $500 of that can be converted to last months rent if the room is in good shape (so $2050 total due at move in).

Utilities are roughly $150 per month, sometimes lower in winter ($130) and higher in summer ($180) from air conditioner. Utilities include twice-monthly maid, water, gas, trash, high speed internet, electricity. We have most of the streaming services (e.g., netflix, HBO) available in the living room as well (no cost).

The room is single occupancy, but guests are welcomed (within reason). The bathroom is shared with one other woman. It has two sinks. Our two current housemates (Angela and Liz) are both moving out because they are in love and moving in with their partners (one in San Francisco, and one in Long Beach). They are also happy to serve as references.

The community is wonderful - there is pool, hot tub, and nice parks within walking distance. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

We have Google Fiber internet for high speed, as well as wireless boosters upstairs for fast speed in bedrooms.

We have lived together for many years and two of our roommates are moving out and in with their boyfriends. Diane is an attorney who works in telecom making contract agreements between carriers and vendors. David is a professor of psychology. Adam works for a computer graphic card company. Rachel is an accountant. Ages range from 25 to 44.

Sometimes we will have a movie night, or dinner in living room, or game night. We are looking for someone who is responsible and easy going and relatively clean. We also have a bimonthly house cleaning service come in. We have lived here for 4.5 years, and are planning to live here relatively long term (ideally 5+ more years) and are looking for someone interested in 1+ year.
