About the room
Do you want to live in am empty, boring apartment…or would you rather live with some cool, fun young people in a house with every toy and amenity you could ever want?
I am looking for a housemate share a RIDICULOUS house in a great quiet neighborhood south of South Pasadena, just 7 minutes from downtown LA, in the city of Alhambra. The common areas in the house come furnished, but the bedroom does not.
The house has EVERYTHING you could want: a theater projection screen to watch TV and movies on, a grotto pool and spa with a zipline and two waterfalls and waterslide, a basketball court, pool table, air hockey table, standup arcade machine with thousands of games, access to all the major streaming services, a porch swing, a bar with beer on tap, dart board, gas fireplace, and much more.
Like I said, the house is RIDICULOUS! Half the people who call don’t believe me until they see it. The house is so decked out that we were actually featured in an HBO Special, a Jim Beam commercial, and on a popular real estate blog in LA for having the 4th “most awesome” pool in LA.
Anyhow, first and last month’s rent and common expenses moves you in. We each chip in $200 for all the expenses around the house, including a 2x/week housekeeper, internet, almost all the streaming services, utilities, pool guy, shared cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels, etc. For about the same as you’d pay alone for just internet and TV, you get a full service house with a housekeeper and a whole lot more.
There’s plenty of parking. Weeknights are pretty quiet because most of us work, but we do like to have folks over, especially on weekends. We’re young professionals who like to have a drink with friends, chill, and make use of an awesome house.
No smoking in the house, no hard drugs, no pets, and only one person per room. NO exceptions on these!
About the roomies
The house is usually always full of young working people who would rather have the option to have someone cool to talk to when they get home, rather than being in an empty apartment. We generally like people who are agreeable and social, but it’s also cool if you prefer to spend most of your time relaxing alone.
