I live in a 2b/1b at Argosy in Crestview. I have the lease renewal ready to go. I talked to the front office and I will just have to add your name and email address to invite you to apply where I do believe there is a small application fee. But they will run background/credit and verify income.

IMPORTANT: There is an income limit. Meaning that the two of us combined cannot make more than 105,000 So I’d say you’re good if you are at about 55k or less.

The complex has a fitness center (Dumbbells go up to 50) One adjustable bench. Two treadmills, an eliptical, rowing machine, and medicine balls w/yoga mats. Two pools in the pool areaa along with a couple grills. Maintenance is INCREDIBLE. They are usually there same day that you put a request in and leave notice that they completed the work (If we aren’t home)

We do happen to live right down the street from the fire station so we’ll get a couple of sirens every day. You just get used to it. Hardly ever during sleeping hours though.

The room itself that you’ll be staying is has a built in wall desk that’s good for one computer, not multiple monitors. You could comfortably fit a full size bed (probably a queen even) with dresser and even a TV if you want. It wouldn’t leave much room for walking space, but it’s a bedroom so take that as you will. It has a half closet with two long shelves for storage. If you are someone with an insane amount of clothes, it won’t work. The balcony is also attached to your room.

Utilities will work like this: I have Spectrum set up so I’ll cover that. You’ll cover water/waste which maxes out at 65 (the cost of Internet that I cover) but will average about 60. We’ll split electric. I’m someone who likes to NOT be hot. So I will regularly put the AC on 73 or 72, but no lower than that. I try to save on electric by not using the Oven and using the Air fryer. If electric gets out of hand, we can discuss a gameplan. I’m laid back, but am very budget conscious.

Things that I“ll be losing are: TV and TV stand for main area. Dining table. General kitchen utensils (We’ll figure out what we need and we can decide if we want to get stuff for main area)

The area we live in is in my opinion the best possible location. It’s literally ten or twenty minutes to EVERYTHING. Westlake? 16 minutes. Domain? 10 minutes. Downtown? UT? 12 minutes. Round Rock? 16 minutes. The MetroRail is a 7 minute walk and the tickets are $6 each way. You can go all over the city for $12 and be able to walk to the Metro and back to the apartment.

I’m a 28 y/o male that works hybrid throughout the week but I do work as a college consultant from home during some evenings. This is a tough situation for me. I’m exiting a long term relationship where I lived w/my partner for a long time. I’m used to living with a female for that reason but with the shared bathroom situation, it might make more sense for a male. However, if you’re comfortable with it then feel free to reach out. I’m not one for doing much during the week b/c I work a lot and just use the down time I do have to relax by watching TV.

I usually cook for convenience. Meaning I cook one thing and it lasts a few days. Or maybe I throw something in the air fryer. I can’t stand the smell of fish so I would prefer my roommate to not be a big fish eater.

If you’re into video games, I could probably get back into them haha. However, it’s not something I do regularly.

I have my personal trainer certification although I don’t have active clients. Fitness is another passion of mine and I work out regularly and do home workouts about 2-3 times a week. So keep that in mind. If you’re someone who doesn’t work out but wants to, I’m a very caring and empathetic person and will absolutely assist if you ever want!
