I’m looking for a roommate to share my lovely home with. Located in Bayshore Gardens, this quaint & classic Florida-style home is walking distance to Publix & Target, as well as a short & scenic 15 minute drive to downtown Bradenton or downtown Sarasota. Spontaneous beach days will become your routine leisure activity as you enjoy the quick access from Cortez & Manatee Ave off Bayshore Gardens Pkwy. For outdoor activities even closer to home, our neighborhood is right on Sarasota bay with marina access, community pool, playground, and rec center. Enjoy the beauty of Florida weather from our spacious private backyard and patio area, while you sip your coffee in the morning sunrise rays coming through the neighbor’s beautiful mango tree, or as you relax to the sound of crickets in the pink sunset twilight hour. Butterfly garden still pending!

My home is just over 1500 sq ft with a horse shoe driveway and a fenced in backyard, so you’ll have plenty of space to comfortably spread your wings & then some. Additional amenities include your own bathroom, brand new kitchen appliances, washer & dryer, indoor/outdoor lanai & back patio. Your room will be unfurnished but I can provide a Twin XL bed if needed.

Our street is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. We have 2 affectionate male cats in the house - they are both around 2 years old so integrating another cat is possible. I would rather not take a dog unless it is very small. Our household is 420 friendly, but the smoke stays outside.

Utilities and amenities covered by your fixed rent payment include room & board, electric, water, internet, pest control, lawn care, and a cleaning service. A refundable security deposit equal to one month is required before move-in; this will be returned at move-out contingent on a 45-day notice and a well maintained space.

I work full time and my 7 year old is with me half the week. We are both pretty quiet at home! We’ve got a TV with streaming services you are welcome to, a bunch of books, and we’re looking forward to sharing meals and getting to know you.
