Private room available in a 2b, 1bath duplex, right across the street from WRIGLEY FIELD! Yup. You read that right. It’s literally our front yard. We are on the 2nd floor and the only tenants in the building (the downstairs area is a small, private office space). Very spacious place that includes a large living room (overlooking Wrigley Field), big dining room, office, kitchen, and back patio. The master bedroom is up for grabs. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a closet, but there’s plenty of space to make it your own.

My name’s Krista, I’m 31(f). I currently work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. I am, however, both an insomniac and a night owl, so you’ll probably hear me out and about late at night. It’s not a ghost, it’s just me!

In terms of activities, I enjoy exploring the city, going to concerts, going to the movies, and I’d really like to get into shape and start finding creative ways to do that.

Personality-wise, I’m very easy going, a bit sarcastic at times, and I know what’s needed in being a good roommate (ie, I won’t drink your last coke and I know how to buy the all-important tp). I’m neither a clean freak nor a slob and while my room may alternate between whirlwind and organized, I totally respect the common areas and keep them fairly neat (for full disclosure purposes,I may leave a book or jacket lying around occasionally if I’m in rush.). I’m trying to think of what else to add… I have good credit and a stable job, which is always great. I tend to keep to myself (I’m typically very introverted, though it weirdly doesn’t come off that way), but I’d love the opportunity to hang out, especially if we share similar interests.

Speaking of interests, my favorite movies are The Sixth Sense, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Labyrinth, and most Marvel films. I’m a bit of a nerd. I love most music, but rock is my favorite genre (raised by 80’s hair bands) and I’ll forever be an Emo kid. Well, I guess we’re called “Elder Emos” now, but you get it. I love board games, and some video games as well, so I’m always down for a game night!

I don’t currently have any pets, but my dream is to get either a small dog or a cat. Hopefully you’re open to that.
