Eligibility: -Credit score 600 or better. -1-2 yrs good rental history. -A bankruptcy must be discharged 2 yrs or longer. -No evictions.

It’s a cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house located in University Heights so we are close to many great places. The house itself is older, built around the 50’s, but our property manager is friendly and takes care of anything we need to be fixed. The laundromat is a two-minute walk from the house and a couple of nice parks that are easy to walk to.

Parking is normally street parking but I haven’t had too much trouble in the last 8 months. The room is the slightly larger one at the front of the house with a sliding door closet and overhead storage space. The room will NOT be furnished, however arrangements with the previous tenant can be made for purchasing the furniture.

The lease is to be renewed on the 1st of July.

I’m David and I’ve lived here 12 months now and love the location and the fact that it’s a house, even though it’s little lol. I work at the Safari park in Escondido driving tours into the animal enclosures and I’ve also worked as a massage therapist for the last ten years. I graduated from CSUSM with a BS in Kinesiology and I’m a nerd about the human body, video games, occasional D&D, and playing acoustic guitar (sleepy coffeeshop vibes).

I am described as having “golden retriever energy” and like to socialize but I also love spending time on my own in my room relaxing and impersonating a potato. I go to Latin social dances and recently a few EDM raves, which have been great! I smoke weed and am happy always to share but I would never push it on you if you don’t like to smoke and I keep it in my room so the common areas can be without it. I’m half Mexican and love to cook for people! My mom’s side is from the mountains in Oaxaca, Mexico and we just found out my dad’s side is from a small village in western Norway!
