The apartment is 1240sqft with lots of open common areas and counter space - which is really nice when living with two other people. You’ll have your own room and share a large bathroom with one of the roommates. Also, as soon as your name is on the lease, you’ll get your own parking pass - every lease holder gets one - there is also tons of overflow parking for guests! The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so please keep that in mind. Even with that minor inconvenience, the location really makes up for it! It’s a 20 minute commute from Monroe Park but less than 3 minutes from various food places, 5 minutes from Food Lion, and 7 minutes from John Tyler Community College; also 3 minutes from I95!

What we’re looking for in a roommate: We’re looking for someone who is clean! We value keeping the common areas, kitchen, and bathrooms clean and tidy, you never know when a guest is coming over! We’re also looking for someone who is pet friendly! I have the sweetest dog, Tucker, who we will be bringing with us when we move in (don’t worry though, he’s hypoallergenic)!

We’re both rising seniors at VCU! Mercedes is currently in the Art Education department and she’ll be student teaching in fall. I’ll be both working and doing school full time, so her and I both won’t be in the apartment much during the day. Aside from school and work, love listening to all kinds of music, cooking, thrifting, and spending time with friends!
