Three housemates are seeking a 4th roommate to move in to a lovely 4 bedroom house right in the heart of Belmont.

One bedroom is available starting June 1.

Rent is $775. (Includes internet, but not other utilities)

The available bedroom is upstairs and has a large, oddly shaped closet, hardwood floors, and nice windows.

Shared spaces: There is a spacious living room plus a nice light-filled shared room upstairs with large windows - perfect for studying or relaxing and reading a book. Also a large dining room, nice kitchen with a gas stove, and 2 full bathrooms. Washer and a dryer in the basement. Ting fiber internet is fast and reliable.

No smoking of any kind (tobacco, marijuana, etc) in or around the house.

There is a small (~10 lb) house-trained dog living here who loves humans and is the talk of the neighborhood. She and her owner will be leaving July 1st, though, so sadly she’s only here until then. Additionally, one incoming tenant shares a medium-sized (~45lb), well-trained dog with their partner and will have it over to supervise/socialize on occasion.

No full-time pets accepted, sorry. Additional dog visitors may be okay.

The rent breakdown is as follows: The entire house is rented out for $3150, and the room breakdown is as follows: $775x2 $800x2 NOTE: Utilities aren’t included. Internet IS included (Ting high speed).

Right now, the remaining $775 room needs filling. So, upon signing the lease, your share would be $775, pus utilities, which run about $40-70 per person, depending on the season.

We are looking for responsible, respectful and community-minded person to be our fourth roommate in this awesome house!

Could be great for a masters or PhD student or post-doc, if you want to be a bit outside of the UVA bubble and in a great Cville neighborhood. Or a local who wants to be close to downtown. The house is steps away from Belle, Southern Crescent and plenty of other local restaurants and bars.

Roommate situation is mixed gender. We are: One mid-twenties nursing student One late-twenties software developer who also works in technical lighting for live music. One early-thirties outdoor educator/nature-based early childhood teacher.

We are looking to create an enjoyable, respectful, fairly quiet-ish shared living situation. Everyone is pretty busy, while also community minded. We’ll all share household cleaning duties in some mutually agreed upon arrangement. If there is enough interest, we may set up an occasional shared housemate meal. :)
