I only want one roommate (no couples, partners, fiancees, kids…)

1.5 story house and the entire upstairs would be yours.

Aside from bedrooms, there is one full bathroom; kitchen; living room; small dining room; and basement with a lot of storage space.

The living room, dining room and your room are unfurnished.

You’ll be the only one using the toilet in the full bathroom (there is a toilet and faucet in the basement that I’ll use)

Includes washer & gas dryer (in basement), electric flat-top stove, refrigerator and microwave

The house has central A/C, but only one HVAC vent (non-intake) is upstairs. So, I purchased an A/C window unit (10,000 BTU) with remote control so you stay cool during the summer.

Only bills you would have to contribute to are electric and gas:

• You pay 1/2 of amount due for the DTE natural gas bill each month

• You pay 1/2 of amount due for the Cons. Energy electricity bill each month

(I pay for trash pickup, water & sewer, Xfinity wireless internet)

Energy efficiency: To keep utility bills low, climate is controlled using a new ecobee Smart Thermostat; the Bradford-White gas water heater is three years old; the Trane XR95 furnace is two years old; the GE window air conditioner (for your room) is 14 months old and Energy Star certified; and both the washer & dryer are Energy Star certified.

5 smoke & carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house (Kitchen, hallway, my room, your room and basement)

Fire extinguisher in kitchen

Two-stall garage with door opener remote (for your car) and outside keypad if you want to park in the garage.

Backyard is fully fenced-in, featuring two separate entry/exit doors with built-in lock & unlock controls

Most Important:

I would be your only roommate.

Unfortunately, I can not allow a roommate to bring a pet.

I own a purebred Siberian Husky who is, due to his age, especially sensitive to my home’s noise and activities. So, a QUIET roommate - who RARELY has people over - is the roommate who I definitely want.

My Husky’s always around me, and if you and I are ever near each together, I would really like it if you gave him attention.

When I’m not home, he also would not be home; he’s always with me.

I don’t cook, so if you do, the kitchen is pretty much yours.

Overall, I think I’m pretty laid back, but that’s up for you to determine when we meet.
