$1085 / Private room – 1 Mile from Cal Lutheran University Credit and background check required The Townhouse: Roomy bedroom w/ shared bathroom in large 3933 sq ft townhouse in Thousand Oaks. We have a patio, deck, backyard, central A/C, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, Internet. Cat-friendly. Utilities – Electric, water, trash, Internet split 4 ways – approximately $150/month. We also split everything 4 ways for common supplies, paper towels, trash bags etc. Chores to keep the common areas clean are shared as well. The Location: Quiet neighborhood along Avenida de los Arboles with good street parking, close to Trader Joe’s. Restaurants, gyms, grocery stores, shopping nearby. Nice parks and hiking areas, 30 minutes to the beach.

The Roommates: Two mid-30s males working in Tech, one 50-yr old female in Ad Sales, all regular weekday working professionals, two work from home. We are into relaxing and enjoying great meals, are kind and generous as long as there is reciprocity. We’re foodies so the fridge is usually packed tight, be prepared to get a personal fridge (we have ours) if you need additional space. Week nights are usually spent in the living room to unwind. We have friends over for occasional gatherings – dinners or poker/game nights. You: Looking for respectful, social, kind working professional who is communicative, responsible about their mental health, rent and bills. Perfect for a working professional who does not party too often/too late, or let people sleep over without permission. Parties with no hard drug use are great, and always clean up after. Must be cat-friendly as we have two beloved cats who need their routines, comfort levels and space respected. When: Room will be available June 1st for a 12-month lease.
Notes: Garage is used mainly for storage space. Dining table is being used by one WFH roommate, occasionally needs quiet during meetings and calls.
