Lakefront home in Stockton, CA. 1 bedroom for rent in a beautiful, tastefully decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. A female senior citizen is seeking a roommate for homesharing (Senior homeshare match-ups bring together older home providers with individuals seeking a place to live. In exchange for providing a private room in their home, seniors receive household assistance or rent from their housemate, or a combination of the two.) Move-in date June 2022. Personal references are required. Privacy will be mutually respected, however the Renter’s overnight guests are subject to approval of the homeowner. Renter will share common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen and patio deck). Owner and renter share responsibility for keeping the home neat and clean indoors and outdoors. Hiring a housekeeper to come in weekly is an option but will increase the rent. Owner and renter will share an in-home washer/dryer. Rent may be raised or lowered based upon the renter’s willingness to provide caregiving help if/as needed for the Owner (including patience and good listening skills, transport to appointments, giving medication, help with following prescribed healthcare plan, grocery shopping, running errands, and general housekeeping). Utility costs (electric, gas, water, internet) will be the responsibility of the Owner. Seeking a renter who is willing to share some meals together including preparation, cooking, shopping and cleaning the kitchen after meals. Street parking is available in front of the home.

My friends say that I’m friendly, kind, love to laugh, like to listen to smooth jazz and R&B music. I have one son and he thinks it’s a good idea for me to have a roommate at this stage of my life to help me as needed. I’m a widow whose home is protected by ADT cameras and whose neighbors watch out for each other. I am used to living alone, independently and I have a pretty good circle of friends but I think it would be nice to have a roommate to share conversations, homework and meals with.
