David's room

This is a great three-bedroom front/back, two-story house on a corner lot in the Larchmere neighborhood near Shaker Square and University Circle. I live in the back residence. The owners live in the front. A solid brick firewall separates the two living areas.

Great neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping. On-street parking can occasionally be tricky, but there’s always a place to park. House includes a private basement (with washer and dryer); living room, half-bath, office, and small kitchen on first floor; three bedrooms and full bath (with tub) on second floor; full private attic great for additional storage. Great front porch for sitting. Hard wood floors throughout.

The place is fully furnished with my eclectic, mid century modern collection of “things,” but I’m certainly willing to make room for your stuff if it makes sense. The available room is completely empty and has a relatively-small closet for storage. I can provide a twin bed, dresser, and night stand if you need it.

Price includes all utilities including high-speed internet (200 Mbps downloads) great for streaming, gaming, etc.

I’m a 49-year-old divorced writer and creative spirit. I’m relatively quiet, easy-going. No drama. Music lover. Great vinyl collection and home library to share. I’m happy to keep to myself, but also don’t mind hanging out and catching up some TV.

I’m admittedly a little anxious about this whole “sharing my space” thing. It’s important to me to make the whole process as painless as possible for all involved. If you think you might be a good fit, hit me up and let’s see if we can pull this off without it being weird.
