About the room

I have one room available to rent in my house located in Fall Creek Place. It is about a 5-minute walk from Baby’s and Mashcraft. There is street parking, a fenced-in yard, a garage for storage and projects, and a full kitchen, including a dishwasher. We definitely have room for some furniture since we are having a roommate move out and the garage offers some extra storage.

The upstairs room with the shared bathroom (white walls) will be available around the first of April.

I am currently updating the house as well, including repainting and updating the upstairs shared bathroom, some changes to our outdoor space to make room for more social space in the back of the house, and painting the upstairs hall/stairs.

I have a 2 year old poodle who is very dog and people friendly. She has no thoughts, just rocks in her head. Since she does not shed, it’s a fairly dog hair-free space. There is also a new roomie moving in with a 7mo bernedoodle puppy.

Unfortunately, we cannot have another dog due to space

About the roomies

I (Taylor, she/her) am 28 and serve as property manager for the owner who just moved out of state. I’m a full time dog trainer and I like reading, exercising, roller skating, being outside, and always love a good project. I spend a lot of time to myself, but I do like to hang out sometimes.

Looking for roommates who are accepting and respectful, ideally part of the LBGT+ community. Ideal roommate would be tidy, friendly, and willing to help with necessary tasks around the house such as cleaning, yard word, trash take out, etc. I like hanging out in the common spaces and sometimes have guests over so I rely on communication and keeping common spaces always tidy and ready to use, but with that being said - I want new roommates to feel at home. It’s important to me that everyone in the house feels comfortable and we keep open lines of communication at all times.
