About the room

Shared house Bright bedroom w/ sleeping nook [Unfurnished] Shared house $740 (WiFi and utilities included)

Hello!

We are a PET-FREE household located in the scenic Kerns neighborhood, offering a unique living experience focused on compatibility, shared values, and mutual respect. Your potential new home includes a bright bedroom w restful Sleeping Nook for more lounging space, 2 shared bathrooms for 3 folks, main floor shared living spaces, a secure place for one’s bike, public park nearby within the walkable Kerns neighborhood, all for a rent of $740/month (inclusive of wifi and utilities).

Seeking Roommate: We’re searching for a roommate who could be either a Women (trans welcome) or, a non-binary or queer man, who is self-aware, skillful and a clear communicator (with experience respecting shared spaces), open to and curious, largely at ease and established with friends and community, who is engaged in some forms of healing/growth, embodiment, and/or creative practices. We strive in choices at Lucielle to environmentally be kind to our planet.

Compatibility and Community: There is a sense of levity and ease often at ‘The Lucielle House’, this home, where a low media relaxed vibe with very periodic planned gathering is the norm. Theres lots of chill time here all hours. Please be comfortable with sharing an ample co-roommate bathroom and across hallway bedrooms (no common wall) on the second floor.

If you value healing, growth, self-development, and creativity, you might fit right in! While we each have our lives, we also appreciate circumstantial socializing in our beautifully remodeled 1908 home. When inquiring about the room, please give us a robust description of yourself, shared living experience, what your looking for and as much as you feel ok sharing to help us get a sense vibe of you please. After a brief phone interview, we’ll arrange an in-person tour/interview for compatibility. We generally we do two meetings to ensure a harmonious fit.

Guest Policy: Overnight S.O.s, friends or guests are truly welcome. We hope it’s clear to avoiding a defacto ‘forth roommate’.

About the roomies

A little about us here; one roommate is a late 30’s cis woman (she/her) with a great big hearted clear Chicago midwesterner communication style who works as a bakery department management, enjoys cooking, reading and learning, hikes and Travel with pals in the airlines. Your other roommate/owner is a Gender Queer (amab, He/They) person in 50’s, a 20 year Pdx’er, works as a Family Therapist, who’s spirit is lit up often by backpacking, dance (contact improv, ecstatic dance), Non dual Spiritualty, Costumes, art, cultural explorations and outdoor adventures.
