Hi! We are currently looking for a female roommate to fill our fourth room on the basement level of our house starting June 1st for a one-year lease.

Your room would be 10’ by 12’ that has two small windows and a 3’ by 3’ closet. You would be sharing a small bathroom with one other female, Zaina. You would also share a large two-sink vanity area on the basement level that is located outside of the bathroom, super convenient for getting ready, etc. You would also get your own parking spot in the back or can use street parking if you prefer.

We’re all in our early to late 20s who work or attend school and are all open-minded and conversational. We all enjoy snowboarding, live music, and good laughs. We’ve curated a social living environment that involves girl’s nights and other social activities. We aren’t necessarily looking for a new best friend but we wish to be socially compatible.

We respect each other’s privacy and never enter each other’s rooms without permission. We like to keep the common areas (kitchen, bathroom, living room, and den) somewhat tidy. While we all have varying ideas of what tidy means, being considerate of what affects others in the household is expected. If you’re someone who leaves their dishes in the sink for days and doesn’t know how to put them into the dishwasher then look elsewhere. We are 420-friendly (not indoors), and we like to drink socially but aren’t the house partying type. We occasionally have small late social gatherings so owning earplugs isn’t a terrible idea. Don’t be surprised if you occasionally see a naked person walking around. We are all comfortable with nudity and the hot summer days will likely bring that out more.

Roommate Bio’s: My name is Aspen, I’m from Portland. I have a lot of plants in the house and while I try to stay tidy I have a really bad memory and can be quite forgetful of things. I work events and freelance so I will be working a lot with an odd schedule. I am a regular weed smoker, and love snowboarding, hiking, and going on adventures!

My name is Zaina, I enjoy hiking 14ers, playing video games, and trying out new things. I am a fairly tidy person who also lives in the downstairs area. I believe most human conflicts come from misunderstandings and miscommunications between people.

My name is Nicole and I am 30, flirty and thriving. Jk. I travel a lot for work and work a lot in general since I do freelance. I have 1 black kitty named Eoto who is 3 and very sweet. I like to cook and listen to music/and watch scary movies when I actually am home. I’ve lived through my young party and dirty phase so now I just sleep when I don’t have to work. I am big on communication and tidiness.

Ideal fit for roommate: We want someone socially & emotionally aware, conversational, and who can tolerate direct feedback (e.g., “Hey, please clean up your dishes”). Not a heavy smoker. You should be clean and have good hygiene, and respect the common areas.

Pet policy: We are currently not accepting any more pets as there are two cats living here upstairs.

The security deposit is $600. Rent is $600 and water, electric, and Wi-Fi end up being close to $100.

If you wish to break the lease early you must find a replacement tenant whom all the current roommates approve of and pay a $600 fee.
